Valley Village

NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW

Homes are well kept and gardens bloom in this tranquil community located in the San Fernando Valley adjacent to North Hollywood. In 1986 residents of this charming neighborhood of homes and businesses formed the Valley Village Homeowners Association to protect the area from “uncontrolled high-rise buildings”.

Today the Association continues to work hard to make this a better place to live where neighbors know and care about each other. Locals love the modest size of Valley Village Park with its playground, picnic area, 1-mile walking path (leashed dogs allowed) and sports fields. One recent addition is the nearby Riverfront Pedestrian and Bike Path featuring lighting, handrails and ramps. The new Metro Bike Share program was recently launched in the San Fernando Valley. The opening of the bike path offers another opportunity to enjoy the mild year-round climate and exercise.
